About our Centre

Surrounded by the rainforest and the reef, Yeppoon is at the centre of the Capricorn Coast. With easy access to all major points, our centre is the newest build in the region and is conveniently located next to Taranganba State School. A purpose built centre with a hidden façade, we offer bright open spaces easily accessible by all. We challenge ourselves to provide an environment that is inclusive and that engages every child in quality experiences in both built and natural environments. Our waterpark is often well utilised during summer and provides relief from those hot and steamy days, while our large undercover areas promote further opportunities for us to explore an indoor/outdoor program.

Our Team

Our Education Team consists largely of highly skilled, experienced educators however we recognise the importance of continuing to plan for the Early Childhood and Education sector by encouraging students to complete traineeships and their practicum within our service.

 

As a team we understand the importance of working together in a cohesive and collaborative setting when exploring the children’s strength and areas of interests. We do this by regularly reflecting our knowledge and understanding around current theories and practices and implementing changes within the service to align with this. We are a valued team who carry the vision of developing and sustaining positive and meaningful partnerships with families, professionals and community we believe we are advocating and implementing holistic programs for children to become effective community members of the future.

Kindergarten Program

Our centre offers both a government approved kindergarten program run by a teacher and long day care, all under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are university qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a Government payment to help eligible families who use approved and registered child care, such as all Global Sky Education centres. CCS payments help eligible families reduce their weekly payments and can also help make child care more affordable for families.
